INDIANAPOLIS, Aug 17, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) announced today that the board of directors has appointed Cynthia L. Lucchese as a Class I Director and to serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
Ms. Lucchese has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hillenbrand, Inc (NYSE:HI) since January 2008. Previously, she had served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Thoratec Corporation. Prior to that, she worked for Guidant Corporation in a variety of senior financial roles, including vice president and treasurer, vice president of finance and administration of the Guidant Sales Corporation, and corporate controller and chief accounting officer.
